Hello Nikos,
Please forgive my tardiness for not corresponding to you earlier regarding our trip, which seems like forever ago.
First let me tell you that we had a private tour company in Italy conduct a tour for us which was highly recommended, and we were quite disappointedSo by the time we arrive in Athens we all were a little skeptical (especially me since I had arranged your tour).
We could not have been more pleased, Firstly Paige and George were prompt and waiting for us as soon as we exited the terminal. Paige was an absolute delight and so professional, with a wealth of wonderful information about Athens. George was the ultimate gentleman who knew exactly how to traverse the many traffic issues that such a vibrant city has at any given hour.
Our day was wonderful!
There is only one recommendation that I would suggest, that is, when you have two people servicing a tour you inform your clients before hand of that.
I thank you, Paige and George again for a great day.
On a personal note, we had some friends in this evening (none of which were with us in Greece and we started the evening with Greek wine. Yum!

Hi Nikos!
I am still going through my photos – and pinch myself that I can’t believe I was in all those places!! This cruise was my first time anywhere in Greece, although we have travelled quite a bit in Europe and been in Turkey a few times…..

I probably would have asked to go to a quaint taverna – something small and with “atmosphere” — but since some wanted to shop, some wanted small snacks/salads, some wanted larger meal – the restaurant at the Plaka was very nice — my husband and myself had nice Greek salads and then got up to wander around and soak up the culture…..
I would like to return to Athens one day and go a little farther afield – perhaps Sounion (is that the correct spelling?) and Itea/Delphi – but that will be another trip – and you can be sure that I will be calling you….
As the Mediterranean cruise season is nearly finished, the Cruise Critic board in that section is very quiet — I will keep an eye out for people wanting to book for the 2011 season and would MOST DEFINITELY recommend your company….

Dear Nikos, It was nice to hear from you.
They were both great. George was such a competent driver. His driving skills made us feel safe and his knowledge of the city helped us avoid or go around traffic jams. Paige was delightful! Her personality matches her looks! She was knowledgeable and helpful! We loved the itinerary and felt the time at each stop was adequate.
A large part of the success of our tour was due to the early departure from the port and early arrival at the Acropolis. Our visit there was serene and uncrowded. We did pass hoards of newly arrived tourists climbing up the steps as we left. Kudos to you and your Company and I am going onto Cruise Critic’s Port of Calls website to sing your praises. Everything about the tour was spectacular.
We thought the narrative of the tour by Vassilios was excellent. We particularly liked his use of maps. He had a book of maps and visual aids which really complimented his narrative. If we are in Athens again we will look you up.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your tour service to anyone. It was one of the highlights of our trip. I would be happy to recommend your tour service!!

We really enjoyed our day in Athens–Spyros was excellent. His commentary enriched our tour and his selection of a restaurant for lunch was a highlight.
It was a pleasure to meet you as well. Many years have passed since my last visit to Athens and for the others it was a first. The venues constructed for the Olympics were impressive and the New Museum of the Acropolis should not be missed.
Spyros was amazing as he guided his car through street better suited to bicycles. Our weather was as perfect as was our day in Athens.
